Social media activities

Within the network, we manage a number of social media accounts and have grown the Comms Team to reflect this.

All our social media activities help to meet our objectives and priorities as agreed with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).   And the main difference between the channels for SWAAN Employer and Apprentice Ambassadors are as follows:

Apprenticeships Ambassadors

  • Audience – Employers, Ambassadors and key stakeholders – e.g., training providers.
  • Channels – LinkedIn (@SWAAN)
  • Purpose
    • To champion apprenticeships across the South-West region
    • To inspire employers to create apprenticeship roles
    • To provide key audiences with apprenticeship information

SW-AAN

  • Audience – Schools/colleges, individuals and key stakeholders – e.g., Careers Hubs.
  • Channels – @SouthWestAAN on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Purpose
    • To champion apprenticeships across the South-West region
    • To inspire individuals to consider becoming an apprentice
    • To provide key audiences with apprenticeship information
