Social media activities

Within the network, we manage a number of social media accounts and have grown the Comms Team to reflect this.

All our social media activities help to meet our objectives and priorities as agreed with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).   And the main difference between the channels for SWAAN and for SW-YAAN are as follows:

SWAAN

  • Audience – Employers, Ambassadors and key stakeholders – e.g., training providers.
  • Channels – LinkedIn (@SWAAN) and Twitter (@SWAAN_Coord)
  • Purpose
    • To champion apprenticeships across the South-West region
    • To inspire employers to create apprenticeship roles
    • To provide key audiences with apprenticeship information

SW-YAAN

  • Audience – Schools/colleges, individuals and key stakeholders – e.g., Careers Hubs.
  • Channels – @SouthWestYAAN on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
